The Annual Report is not just a communications tool for the Town of Wadena, it is a point-in-time record of accomplishments, milestones and goals. An annual report is so much more than a historical record, its purpose is also to create deeper understanding of what we do, why we do it and how well we do it. It is meant to engage residents and ratepayers, build trust and start important conversations — clarifying why people should invest in and live in the community, work with the Town as a partner, and believe in the vision, mission and mandate of the Town. It also serves as a calling card for high-level discussions with customers, partners and other levels of government, uniting the Town's strategies into a cohesive whole.
A lot of time and effort from staff and Council is put into this special document resulting in valuable information that isn't always discoverable anywhere else in an easy to read, user friendly format. It is an informative, valuable and important part of our commitment to open and transparent government.
